I Write for These Reasons

I do it for pleasure,

I do it for fun.

I do it for reasons,

I do it for none.

I do it for comfort,

I do it for hope.

I do it for sharing,

I do it for scope.

I do it for interest,

I do it for me.

I do it for others,

I do it for thee.

I write for these reasons,

and so many more.

It’s what I like doing,

not even a chore.

Don’t do it for money,

the truth I do tell.

All things considered,

I say, ” just as well.”
