Each week we play the lottery,
I really don’t know why.
Guess you can’t win really big,
if you never try?
Surely we just waste our funds,
on luck that’s not a lady.
It’s open, yes, to everyone,
and not considered shady.
What would we do if we won,
I hope we would be smart.
And share with others prudently,
providing from the heart.
We will leave soon to check our stubs,
at the local store.
And if we win I promise this,
I’ll faint onto the floor.
